Hurricane Ida slams into U.S. Gulf Coast on Katrina anniversary

After growing in strength while barreling through the Gulf of Mexico, with winds up to 241 kilometers per hour, Hurricane Ida finally slammed into the Louisiana coast earlier today as a Category 4 storm. As Jennifer Johnson reports, the vicious weather has made landfall on the exact day Hurricane Katrina ravaged the region 16 years ago.
