Liberal leader Justin Trudeau defended a tweet posted by MP Chrystia Freeland, who is seeking re-election in Toronto, that was flagged by Twitter as “manipulated media” which included clips of an interview with Conservative leader Erin O’Toole talking about private health care coverage. Trudeau said his party has posted the entire interview and is encouraging all Canadians to take a look.
