New polling done exclusively for Global News by Ipsos shows even as major parties are set to begin their second week of campaigning, the incumbent Liberals may have already “stumbled out of the starting block” despite entering the election campaign ahead of the other parties. Signs are now pointing to a “volatile” election day that could easily be swayed one way or the other despite a lead of at least five points by the Liberals over the Conservatives – a lead they’ve held since the spring.
