Canada election: Conservative’s O’Toole pledges 1,000 new drug treatment beds, 50 drug recovery centres if elected

While campaigning in New Westminster, B.C. on Sunday, Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole pledged $325 million over three years to help combat Canada’s opioid crisis. He promised the creation of 1,000 drug treatment beds and 50 recovery centres.
