One person was sent to hospital following a six-vehicle collision on Highway 7 west of Peterborough Tuesday evening. Emergency crews were called to the scene between North Monaghan Parkway and Landsdowne Street around 5:20 p.m.
Six vehicles were damaged in the crash. Both Peterborough and Cavan Monaghan township firefighters attended the scene, stabilizing the vehicles and checking on the occupants.
Paramedics assessed several people, but officials on scene told Global Peterborough at the scene only one person ended up being taken to hospital for further treatment.
It is unclear whether any charges will be laid.
