Police handcuffed and detained a Black real estate agent along with the client he was showing a house to, and the client’s 15-year-old son, in Wyoming, Michigan on Aug. 1. Once police identified Eric D. Brown as a real estate agent, police released him along with the client and his son with an apology. A neighbor had called police after the same house had been broken into. A vehicle similar to Brown’s was used in the July 24th break and enter, but the neighbor didn’t know police had already arrested a suspect in that incident.
