Helicopters worked to douse the flames of a massive wildfire just outside of Athens, Greece, on Tuesday – a fire fuelled by one of the worst heatwaves in decades. In neighbouring southern Turkey, the situation is critical. Several fires were still active on Tuesday, fanned by strong winds, high temperatures and low humidity. Ross Hull reports.
