Calgary E.R. doctor fears kids will pay for Alberta’s plan to drop most COVID-19 restrictions

Calgary emergency room physician Dr. Joe Vipond says Alberta should be preparing more powerful public health restrictions — not removing the few the province has left — as cases of COVID-19 increase. With so little known about the variants of the disease, he fears unvaccinated kids under the age of 12 are being put at risk.
