City reminding cyclists of ebike bylaw
Description
July 26, 2021
With a surge in ebike sales and popularity, city councilors are reminding residents of a bylaw limiting an ebike's use on trails. While cyclists are free to take their ebikes on multi-use trails, they must be shut off and manually pedaled – a bylaw that ebike vendors are saying excludes people with mobility issues.
Sam Houpt has the story.
