Canada may be allowing fully-vaccinated Americans to enter the country for leisure as of Aug. 9, but whether the U.S. will reciprocate anytime soon remains unclear, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Monday, adding the decision lies with that government. “Every country makes its own decisions about what it does with its borders. But the fact that we’ve been aligning ourselves as closely as we have over the past year-and-a-half has been extremely positive for our country, and for both of our countries,” Trudeau said.
