Disability advocates in New Brunswick are hoping Department of Social Development will do away with the household income policy, or at least some sort of comprehensive reform. It creates additional barriers for those living with a disability and receiving social assistance – forcing many to make a choice between basic income and love. Nathalie Sturgeon reports.
