The woman in charge of the Nova Scotia RCMP during the killing spree that left 22 people dead last April will step down before public hearings into the shootings begin. The force says Assistant Commissioner Lee Bergerman’s retirement has nothing to do with the public inquiry but one legal expert says the public deserves more of an explanation. Sarah Ritchie reports.
