Return of flu season as COVID-19 restrictions ease

New Brunswick health officials say the flu and the common cold are bound to return when the province’s mandatory mask order is lifted, which is expected by Aug. 2. But the president of the New Brunswick Medical Society said some people will continue to wear masks, making it difficult to predict the intensity of the upcoming flu season.
