Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam said on Thursday that more than 40 million COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered in Canada, which she said equates to 78 per cent of people over age 12 with at least one dose. Tam added that 44 per cent of people age 12 and over are fully vaccinated.
