Earlier this week Peterborough’s city council approved putting the long-discussed twin pad arena in Morrow Park.
And though the majority of councillors approved the decision, some listed the nearly $62 million price tag and the environmental impact as concerns. Monaghan Ward councillor Don Vassiliadis has always argued that wherever the arena goes, it needs to go on city-owned land. He spoke with Global News Morning Peterborough host Katrina Squazzin Wednesday.
