High-speed rail line between Toronto, Quebec City would cost ‘significantly more’: Alghabra

Transportation Minister Omar Alghabra on Tuesday said Canada had looked into high-speed rail, but determined it would cost “significantly more” and would take “a lot more time to build” than high-frequency rail. The federal government on Tuesday announced plans for a high-frequency rail line between Toronto and Quebec City.
