Memorial walk held in Halifax on Canada Day for residential school victims

There was no official Canada Day celebrations in Halifax this year. Instead, close to 1,000 people gathered at Peace and Friendship Park for a rally and memorial walk to honour the children who died and those who survived the former Indian Residential School system. Jesse Thomas has more.
