The U.S. House of Representatives voted 222-190 in favour of creating a Select Committee to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. Every Democrat voted in favour and were joined by only two Republicans. A bipartisan outside commission was blocked by Senate Republicans in May from being created.
