Is the severity of a COVID-19 vaccine’s side effects an indicator of its effectiveness?

Hundreds of thousands of Canadians are getting vaccinated on a daily basis as COVID-19 vaccine doses continue to roll out, with the country already having about 30 per cent of the eligible population, aged 12 and older, fully vaccinated. While some people have shared having headaches and other side effects, some have had none at all. With that said, does a lack of reaction post-shot mean a lower immune response? Jamie Mauracher has the answer to that question.
