Assembly of First Nations National Chief Perry Bellegarde condemned multiple recent fires that occurred at Catholic churches across Canada on Wednesday, saying he understands “the frustration, the anger and the hurt and the pain,” but added that “to burn things down is not our way. Our way is to build relationships.”
