Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole released a plan on Tuesday that he said will bolster Canada’s ability to produce critical medicines domestically, while taking aim at patented pricing control policies and appearing to leave the door open to trading Canadians’ data for access to vaccines in the future, as did Israel last year to secure early Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines.
