Minnesota A.G. calls Derek Chauvin’s sentence ‘real accountability on the road to justice’

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison delivered a statement following the sentencing of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin on Friday, saying that while the sentencing was “not justice, it is another moment of real accountability on the road to justice.” Chauvin was sentenced to 22.5 years in prison for the murder of George Floyd.
