Jeff Zients, the coordinator for the U.S. COVID-19 task force, announced on Tuesday that 70 per cent of people aged 30 and over have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. However, Zients said the country has “more work to do” in vaccinating the 18-to-36-year age group.
