Across the U.S., Americans are celebrating Juneteenth as an official federal holiday for the first time. On June 19th, 1865, the abolition of slavery was announced in Texas- more than two years after the Emancipation Act ended enslavement of Black people in the country. Jennifer Johnson reports.
