O’Toole calls on Liberals to joins Conservatives in censuring Sajjan as Freeland defends minister
Conservative Party Leader Erin O’Toole called upon Liberals during question period on Thursday to join his party in censuring Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan for his handling of sexual misconduct allegations in the Canadian military. Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland responded to O’Toole by saying the government “full confidence” in Sajjan.
