The United States Supreme Court preserved insurance coverage for millions of Americans Thursday, rejecting the third major challenge to the national health care law known as “Obamacare.” U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer praised the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down a challenge to the Affordable Care Act on the Senate floor on Thursday, declaring the “ACA is here to stay.” And during her news conference on Thursday, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats are happy with the Supreme Court saving the Affordable Care Act from another GOP-backed challenge.
