U.S. President Joe Biden said Wednesday he had stressed the importance of human rights with Russian President Vladimir Putin and “made it clear” that should opposition leader Alexei Navalny die in a Russian prison, it would be “devastating” for Russia. He added if the country doesn’t act according to “international norms,” both the U.S. and other nations would likely not invest or do more business with Russia.
