Global News Morning Peterborough: Take a little extra care with your chicken coop

Recently the City of Kawartha Lakes announced a pilot project that would allow residents in some areas to host chicken coops on their properties. But poultry specialist Al Dam cautions that there’s a lot more to raising your own flock than just putting a coop in your yard. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs employee spoke with Global News Morning Peterborough host Teresa Kaszuba about some of the issues.
