An adjudicator from the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) asked a female claimant why she didn’t ask Hamas to protect her even though he knew she alleged she was tortured by Hamas. The adjudicator denies any wrongdoing in the case and says he has never acted improperly in his 30-year career at the IRB.
