Madiha Salman’s uncle says loss to family is ‘immense’ after London, Ont. attack

The maternal uncle of Madiha Salman, Ali Islam, spoke during a public ceremony in honour of the London, Ont. family who died in a vehicle attack last Sunday. He said that “four fountains of sweetness were taken away,” but thanked Canadians for the outpouring of support seen across the country, adding that the world “has confirmed the potential of absolute, innate goodness inside humankind.”
