While the majority of British Columbians had to turn their home into their office and a classroom during the pandemic, data provided to Global News shows many wanted a cute and furry friend for company. The BC SPCA said at the height of the summer months, more than 350 kittens were adopted around the province and hundreds of applications were submitted for each kitten.
