Halifax Regional Council has endorsed its first formal anti-Black racism framework – a road map that will inform the creation of an action plan for combatting anti-Black in municipal services. The goal is to bring an Afrocentric, culturally-responsive approach to everything the government does, but as Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, there’s a lot of consultation work that needs to happen first.
