Push to address intergenerational trauma caused by Canada’s residential schools

Nearly one week after the remains of 215 children were discovered at unmarked burial sites at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School, survivors of these facilities and their families are struggling to cope. As Neetu Garcha reports, decades after Canada’s last residential school closed, the trauma lingers for generations of Indigenous people.
