Remembering Tulsa’s ‘Black Wall Street’ race massacre 100 years later

U.S. President Joe Biden traveled to Oklahoma for the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, when a white mob killed hundreds of Black people and destroyed a thriving neighbourhood of Greenwood, which became known as ‘Black Wall Street.’ The history of the atrocity was largely hidden until recently, but historians and the few remaining survivors are determined to tell the story.
