Eighteen seniors in the Galahad Care Centre, located two hours east of Edmonton, have been uprooted and moved to different homes. The province is struggling to find enough staff to keep the facility open and Alberta Health Services says the pandemic is to blame. As provincial affairs reporter Tom Vernon explains, that explanation isn’t good enough for the affected families.
