‘The country is reeling’: Singh comments on discovery of children’s remains at site of former B.C. residential school

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh commented on Monday on the discovery of the remains of 215 children at the site of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C., saying that the “country is reeling” over the news. He called on the federal government to “do something concrete,” adding he would be calling for an emergency debate in the House of Commons.
