Valley Transit Authority (VTA) board chair Glenn Hendricks named and honoured the victims of the San Jose rail yard shooting that occurred on Wednesday. He said in addition to the eight people who were killed, officials learned late that night that a ninth employee had died of his injuries. Hendricks also said he had spoken with victims’ family members and would provide support however they could.
