Canada’s auditor general Karen Hogan delivered two audit reports related to COVID-19 on Wednesday, where she said the information revealed the federal government was not properly prepared to fight the pandemic. Hogan added if there’s one overall lesson, it’s that “government departments need to take action to resolve long-standing issues and to see the value in being better prepared for a rainy day.”
