Israel’s ambassador to the UN and the Palestinian foreign minister spoke to a joint debate of the UN General Assembly on Thursday. The Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki accused the international community of “turning a blind eye to the genocide of whole Palestinian families,” while Israel’s Permanent Representative to the UN Gilad Erdan said their war “is not on Palestinians” but on Gaza’s ruling Hamas.
