During Sunday’s episode of “Meet the Press,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky discussed her agency’s decision to issue new COVID-19 guidelines, which advise that fully vaccinated Americans no longer need to wear masks indoors or out in most cases. “We are asking people to be honest with themselves,” she said, adding, “if they are vaccinated and they are not wearing a mask, they are safe. If they are not vaccinated and they are not wearing a mask, they are not safe.”
