IHIT appeals to family members not to be ‘complicit’ in gang conflict

Sgt. Frank Jang of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team explains to reporters at a press briefing Friday why they shouldn’t call the latest shootings a “gang war.” He also said those family members found to be complicit in the violent acts of their sons could also be found criminally responsible. “For those who are involved in this — we are coming after you, we are coming after every single one of you,” said Jang.
