An Oshawa small business owner who applied to receive an Ontario government grant to help operators hit by the COVID-19 pandemic says he didn’t even get a response. Alex Pilepic runs a motorcycle apparel store and qualified for $40,000 in aid. But he didn’t get a commitment from the government to pay until he called Global News reporter Sean O’Shea.
