Acting U.S. FDA commissioner Janet Woodcock on Monday announced that the agency had expanded emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 12-15 after a study found the vaccine 100 per cent effective in this age group of preventing COVID-19.
