U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday, following the cyber attack on the Colonial Pipeline, that combating such attacks on critical energy infrastructure was a “top priority” for the Biden administration. She also said President Joe Biden had been briefed on the Colonial situation on Saturday. The attack was reported on Friday and the company said it had shut down its entire network in response.
