D.C. police probationary officer fired for reckless driving following apparent ‘drag race’

A D.C. Metropolitan Police probationary officer was fired for reckless driving in connection with what local reports called a “drag race.” Two patrol vehicles were totalled and four members of D.C.’s Sixth District Police Department were injured during the incident on April 22, police said.
