Toronto Mayor John Tory said on Monday that 40,144 people booked a COVID-19 vaccine appointment within hours of Ontario expanding vaccine eligibility to all adults in virus hot spots. Eligibility will expand further on Thursday, when online bookings open up to all Ontario residents aged 50 and over, Tory said.
