An early morning fire Sunday at an auto dealership in Peterborough is being deemed as electrical.
Around 3:45 a.m. Peterborough firefighters were called to a fire at the Kawartha Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat dealership on Landsdowne Street West.
They discovered smoke billowing from the building.
Platoon Chief Don Broersma says after managing to enter the building, crews were able to
extinguish the fire and efforts were diverted to removing remaining smoke from the building.
No injuries were reported.
Peterborough Fire Services’ Fire Prevention Division determined the cause of the fire to be electrical.
Damage is pegged at $30,000.
