Emergency crews responded to a two vehicle crash on Parkhill Road west of Reid Street around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Both drivers were taken to hospital after being treated by paramedics at the scene.
Parkhill Road is closed between Reid Street and Donegal Street while crews work to repair the pole.
A witness says the one vehicle rear-ended the other in the area of Parkhill Road and Chemong Road and came to a stop after hitting the pole.
It is unclear if any charges will be laid.
