Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan announced Thursday that former Supreme Court justice Louise Arbour will lead an independent external review of the institutional policies in the Canadian Armed Forces and Department of Defence regarding sexual misconduct reporting and handling. The review will also examine the performance evaluation and promotion system and how leaders are selected and trained within the forces.
