On Wednesday the Ontario government announced the creation of 8,000 new spaces at public and private colleges for students hoping to pursue a career as a personal support worker. Those spaces come with free tuition, a move made to address the shortage of personal support workers in the province. Chris Russell, the Dean of Gates College in Peterborough, spoke with Global News Morning Peterborough anchor Noor Ibrahim about what it means.
